Jorge Alvarez Maynez is a candidate for the Mexico Presidency for the Citizen Movement (MC) party.
His campaign proposals are focused on three main areas:
- Mexico with Justice
- Prosperous Mexico
- Mexico of equals
In the second section he explains some items related to the energy sector, among them, the decrease in the cost of electricity by promoting renewable energy; gradual transformation of state-run companies, Pemex and CFE, into clean energy companies; ending activities in the Tula and Cadereyta refineries, among other proposals.
